Oriental Universal Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Oriental Universal), established on May 10, 2017, With a registered capital of RMB 1 billion, it is capable of constructing and operating exhibition venues, organizing events, integrating resources and operating capitals. It is now responsible for the operation and management of Wuhan New International Exhibition Center, Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center, Kunming International Exhibition Center, and Hainan International Convention & Exhibition Center, with a total exhibition area exceeding 850,000sqm. Meanwhile, in order to boost the strategic layout, Oriental Universal has invested in the established of a joint venture with VNU Exhibitions Asia Ltd. under Jaarbeurs to fuse the resources of “organizers + venues”. In December 2018, the company was formally renamed “Oriental Universal Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd.” with the approval from the State Administration for Market Regulation.
In accordance with the development strategy of “operation + investment”, Oriental Universal Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd. adheres to the development concept of “innovation, coordination, green, opening, sharing”, operates and manages the exhibition resources in hand in a unified manner while cooperating with exhibition enterprises at home and abroad by means of brand cooperation, resource cooperation and capital cooperation to integrate exhibition resources, build up a platform for investment and financing, and strive to build an international convention & exhibition operation and investment group that integrates exhibition event operation, diversified investment management and capital operation.
